Lenamore’s Services

RIDING LESSONS are available seven days a week, catering for all levels of experience. We always do our utmost to provide safe and reliable horses and along with our outstanding BHS instructors you could not be happier with our service. For full details on the riding lesson schedule click here.

HACKING is very popular at Lenamore Stables due to its unique picturesque location. Regardless of your level of experience, we can accommodate your needs. You can hack out around the local countryside for many hours, or even venture further on day treks to local beauty spots such as Grianan of Aileach Stone Fort.

NURSERY RIDING LESSONS are provided for children up to the age of seven. A nursery lesson is an ideal way to introduce your child/children to riding with the peace of mind that they are in safe hands with our popular nursery instructor Jacqui. Each lesson lasts half an hour and we require one adult to accompany each child to walk beside them. For the nursery lesson schedule click here.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES are also accommodated at Lenamore Stables. You bring as many friends as you like and spend an hour having lots of fun playing games on horseback. Afterwards you will have unlimited use of our club room with a fitted kitchen and plenty of space to hold your party.

LIVERY CLIENTS are at the centre of focus at Lenamore Stables. Due to such convenient proximity to Derry, Lenamore Stables is ideal for keeping a horse on livery, especially since all of the facilities listed above are at the horse owner's disposal. We have a broad range of livery contracts to suit all needs. Being a centre of excellence, we have the ability to support you and your horse whether you wish to compete or simply just ride for leisure, providing high standards that are at the fore for pupils and animals. Since all animals on livery must get regular exercise, owner's who are unable to ride regularly may arrange for their animals to be exercised.

BREAKING AND SCHOOLING of horses and ponies is a speciality at Lenamore. Many people across Ireland avail of these services to prepare their animals for selling or to bring them up to competition level. From Lenamore’s long history of achievement in this area, you can bring your horse or pony to us happy with the knowledge that your animal will get the best possible introduction to the equestrian world.
